A world leading flooring product manufacturer intended to obtain an understanding of the total costs for operating a wholly foreign owned manufacturing plant in China to produce engineered wood floor for the export market.
South Sphere performed an in-depth cost analysis on all the items for a manufacturing plant including equipment cost, material cost, people cost, utility cost, variable and fixed costs. We also selected and recommended three locations and provided a cost comparison of the three sites. Based on the estimated annual capacity provided by the client, we designed and proposed an organization structure and a plant layout for the manufacturing project using our expertise in the trade. For production equipment cost analysis, we use the best combination of imported, JV and domestic made equipment that makes economic sense without sacrificing quality. |
